The Pentacle

For all you beginners who have recently just entered the craft i have a basic explenation of the pentacle for you and i will make it very easy to understand. we will get to the more advansed stuff once this discussion has been understood and a different topic will be created in time :)


Here we have the 5 pointed star which often has a circle around it and we call it the Pentacle.
The pentacle represents our 5 elements that we often use in our spell work. Spirit - Ourselfs, Water - Cleansing, Fire - Heat, Earth - Grounding, and Air - words we speak. the meanings for the elements are my own beleifs and how i use them in my own spell work, you can choose your own.
Not only do witches use this in spell work but we also use it in astrology too, all the zodiac signs are grouped into each elemts and resembles the personalities of the zodiac signs too, the topic on this will be continued in a different discussion about astrology and elements.
